How does Plasma Pen work?

Using an FDA-cleared Plasma Pen device, plasma energy is applied to the skin, and this energy transfers to the skin’s epidermal layer, while also heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure, creating a superficial microtrauma to the epidermis, as well as a deeper zone within the dermis – particularly the fibroblasts. This microtrauma stimulates your natural healing process to create new, rejuvenated, tight, and smooth skin over the next 12 weeks. During this phase, collagen and elastin are produced, plumping the structure of the skin to soften and eliminate lines and wrinkles.

The Plasma Pen fibroblast therapy we perform at our center is the most advanced, nonsurgical, noninvasive, skin lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation treatment used to combat wrinkles and fine lines, tighten sagging skin, improve skin texture and tone, and reverse collagen loss. Results are permanent (but our skin continues to age) and impressive. Plasma fibroblast therapy is low-risk and uses your body’s natural healing process to create beautiful results.

How long does it take to see results?

An immediate and significant tightening is visible directly after the procedure, along with cumulative improvements over the next three months. A plasma fibroblast treatment is the treatment that keeps on giving. You may continue to see results for up to a year after your procedure. In some cases, it may require more than one session depending on your desired results. Results last three to five years.

What are the risks?

Plasma Pen treatments are safe, particularly when compared to more invasive cosmetic procedures and surgery. Risks include swelling, scabbing/crusting of the treated skin, temporary skin discoloration during the healing process, and scarring if aftercare instructions are not carried out properly. The Plasma Upper Facelift is a low-risk procedure that yields great results. Compared to plastic surgery, it’s much less expensive, much less down time, there is no risk of overcorrecting as there is with plastic surgery and injections, and the healing time is much quicker.

What is the healing process like?

For about 7 days, your skin may be pink and carbon crusts will develop on the treated area. Swelling may occur, especially for eye treatments, starting the day following the procedure and peaks on day 3. On around day 3 or 4, swelling begins to subside and the carbon crusts begin to flake and fall off, leaving behind brand new baby skin. These are guidelines for average healing time. The healing time and results may be negatively compromised if you don’t adhere to the aftercare instructions.

Plasma Pen Progressive Facelift

This treatment is an excellent alternative to cosmetic surgery, Botox and fillers, and ablative procedures. It delivers comparable results to a surgical facelift but with much less down time and significantly less expense. (The average cost for a surgical facelift is anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000, and our Plasma Progressive Facelift is a fraction of that cost).

We work in phases to achieve optimal results, to not overwork your body’s healing response, and to ensure a short recovery time.

Phase 1

Plasma Rejuvenation Facial Peel

Using an FDA-cleared Plasma Pen device, plasma energy is sprayed across all areas of your face, including your eyelids and under eye area (something lasers can’t do). This treatment resurfaces the skin on your entire face, rejuvenates your skin, and is the foundation for the next phase of the Plasma Progressive Facelift. This treatment can also be done as a stand alone treatment or can be performed every six weeks until desired results are achieved (typically only one treatment is needed). Results last from three to five years. This procedure is also an excellent treatment for active acne and acne scarring.

Phase 2

Plasma Neck Lift

Six weeks after your Plasma Rejuvenation Facial Peel, we complete a full or half Plasma Neck Lift. Sagging skin on your neck can give away your age. This procedure lifts, tightens, rejuvenates, retexturizes, and smooths your skin after just one treatment.

Sagging skin on your neck (often referred to as turkey neck) can give away your age. If you’re looking for an alternative to expensive and invasive cosmetic neck surgery with minimal down time and comparable and long-lasting results, then the Plasma Neck Lift performed at NUE Beginnings may be for you. This procedure lifts, tightens, rejuvenates, retexturizes, and smooths your neck skin after just one treatment, resulting in a younger looking you and long-lasting results.

A surgical neck lift involves cutting and removing excess skin from the neck to address age-related wrinkling and creasing. The Plasma Neck Lift is the most advanced, nonsurgical, noninvasive, skin lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation treatment used to combat wrinkles and fine lines, tighten sagging skin, improve skin texture and tone, and reverse collagen loss. Results are permanent (but our skin continues to age) and impressive. Plasma fibroblast therapy is low-risk and uses your body’s natural healing process to create beautiful and long-lasting results. Best of all, it’s nonsurgical, noninvasive, and the cost is a fraction of what a surgical neck lift cost.

Phase 3

Plasma Upper Facelift

Six weeks after your Plasma Neck Lift, we do a Plasma Upper Facelift (forehead, frown lines, upper and lower eyes, and crow’s feet). This custom treatment addresses each wrinkle and fine line to shrink and tighten the skin, significantly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on your upper face and eye areas. For this treatment, we deliver the plasma energy in a dot pattern, which shrinks the skin as it heals. This treatment can also be done as a standalone treatment.

Phase 4

Plasma Lower Facelift

Six weeks after your Upper Facelift, we do a Plasma Lower Facelift (nose, full smile lines, cheeks, upper/lower lip, jawline, and chin)..

This custom treatment addresses each wrinkle and fine line on your lower face and shrinks and tightens the skin, resulting in rejuvenated skin with a significant reduction of wrinkles on your lower face area.

The Plasma Lower Facelift is a nonsurgical, noninvasive, skin lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation treatment used to combat wrinkles and fine lines, tighten sagging skin, improve skin texture and tone, and reverse collagen loss. ‍
